The Pall Posidyne Neo 96 hour Filter can be used in neonatal IV therapy, epidural and subcutaneous infusions. The ultra-low filter volume enables rapid delivery of bolus medications and minimum hold up of infusions. The 0.2 μm surfactant-free hydrophilic Posidyne membrane offers patient protection against:Particles – protecting the circulatory system against the undesirable effects of infusing particulate contamination and protecting the peripheral vein during infusion.

Micro-organisms – protecting the patient against microbiological contamination and reducing the risk of infection due to inadvertently contaminated infusate.
Endotoxin – enabling safe use of filter and set for up to 96 hours, enabling savings in disposables costs and nursing time and reducing clinical waste.
Air: preventing air embolism.
Needle-less access Y-site option – reducing the risk of needle-stick injury.
